Mark graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Environmental Design(Architecture) in 1988. Upon graduation, he worked for Fox & Jacobs in Dallas as a draftsman, CAD Operator, Design and CAD Manager, Architectural Manager, Architectural and Estimating Manager, and finally, the Director of Product Development.

Seth started drafting June of 2020 for MDS learning from expert drafters, Nathan & Rene. Seth became Vice President in November of 2023, assisting with company operation & in May of 2024 began designing.

Rene graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Environmental Design (Architecture) and a Bachelors of Science in Construction Management in 1993. Rene started working in the architectural field in 1994 and working with Mark since 1997. This year, he has 30 years of experience in the Residential Construction Industry.

Tommy began his career at a young age building homes with his great-grandfather, at the same time studied his grandfather's sketches and began designing homes. Tommy began his career at a young age building homes with his great-grandfather, at the same time studied his grandfather's sketches and began designing homes. Tommy studied architecture at Tyler Junior College and The University of Texas at Austin. He worked for ten years at one of the top US residential design firms in Dallas, before going out on his own to design and draft high-end residential and commercial architecture. Tommy has over 35 years of experience in design and drafting. He joined MDS at the beginning of 2024 to reignite his passion for production home design.

Nathan graduated from McNeese University with a degree in residential architecture draftsman in 2000. Nathan started his architectural career working at Centex with Mark by adding covered patios and moving windows. He left in 2005 to work for MDS, progressing towards developing home-builder portfolios and designing custom

He left in 2005 to work for MDS, progressing towards developing home-builder portfolios and designing custom homes and townhomes. Now, Nathan has over 23 years of experience in residential design.

Susan began her studies at Ohio State University and graduated with honors at the Art Institute of Houston in graphic design in 2001. Susan has 35 years of experience in various types of drafting. She has worked for McLaughlin Design Studio for the past 9 years creating construction drawings, master plans, and brochure handouts.

Sal studied Civil and Architectural Design at the American Trades Institute from 1989 to 1991. Throughout his career in the architecture field, He worked as a CAD operator, supply design manager, and design and estimating manager until he started working for McLaughlin Design Studio in 2013. Sal has over 30 years of experience.

Josh grew up in the homebuilding industry and started drafting in 2013. Since then, Josh has spent more than 10 years working in residential design and land analysis for multiple homebuilders, joining MDS in 2024.

Kristy graduated from Stephen F Austin State University in 2000. She started out in commercial architecture gathering experience in hospitality production, ADA accessibility, site design and interior finish-outs. After transitioning to residential architecture, Kristy furthered her knowledge base in residential design, production, architectural marketing, and multi-million dollar home design, structural planning and site inspections. Never one to sit still, she has ventured into other modalities in order for gain insight helping her make someone's house a home. Kristy worked with Mark before and is happy to be back again utilizing her 22 years of experience.
Accounting Manager
Zach has worked for McLaughlin Design Studio since 2018, heading the billing, invoicing, and information technology processes of the company. Zach ensures MDS keeps accurate records of all client relations regarding billing and payment procedures.
CAD Specialist
Jesse graduated from ATI with the completion of AutoCAD Architectural Courses in 1999. He started drafting in 2000 and continued to work for major home-builders, architects, and structural engineers. He has been working with MDS for over 6 years with a total of over 22 years of experience in drafting and the architectural field.
